Melissa Menzer....
Melissa loves to scour the flea markets and second hand stores for the items that make her sculpted personalities, truly, one-of-a-kind.

For as long as she can remember, she has loved to sculpt people and animals out of clay. She is fascinated with the 1930's and 40's, black memorabilia, old advertising, robots and holiday decorations.

Her parents were artists and antiques dealers, so you can see their influence rubbing off in her nostalgic style. The faces that she creates are imbued with quirky personalities, and formed by the collection of objects that Melissa has chosen to make up the bodies.

Melissa's Spoon Beams are currently featured in the current  Art Doll Quarterly Magazine visit www.artdollquarterly.com
