Growing up in Maryland, both my parents were artists and antiques dealers. For as long as I can remember, I have sculpted people and animals out of clay.

Before I became a full-time artist, I worked as a retail personnel manager. When my job was eliminated, I turned back to art and antiques creating a cottage industry.  "Cottageville Santas." I found the more I used my imagination to make the Santas, the more people loved them.  This has opened a whole new world for me!

I am fascinated with the 1930's and 40's, black memorabilia, robots, and holiday decorations.  Searching flea markets and antique shops for unique body parts has become an obsession that has truly made my pieces one-of-a-kind.
